Phila.
Hokay so, I absolutely LOVE Philadelphia. Everything is just as I imagined it. Over the course of week I got to go out and visit many places including Penn's Landing, City Hall, Love Park, the PMA, and South Street. At Penn's landing I got to meet up with a family friend at the Hyatt which was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. After that we ate lunch at Moshulu which was by far the best food I've ever had. Then during my drawing class we met at Love Park which was a fun activity for the day. We went to the Barn's dig site to complete some in class assignment and after wards I was able to see the PMA. Lastly, my parents came to visit this weekend and we headed to South Street, and let me tell you the Magic Garden is amazing! There were so many unique things to look at along with inspirational quotes [my favorite!]. This was the first week back it was very hectic but a lot of fun at the same time. I love Phila. and I'm definitely going to make it my permanent home for a long time.

"Mixed Emoticons"
This right here happens to be a man named Rives. After watching the Story of Mixed Emoticons I realized that symbols can have a very very wide range of meaning. One may see this collection of characters })i({ and think nothing of it, but after close inspection as Rives tells his hilarious story of a boy chasing a girl a butterfly appears fairly easily. This episode really made me think about what some may consider a reverse process. For me I felt that the characters were typed up and then a story was created. It also made me realize while photographs provide a visual for a story so can simple symbols placed together. How CraZy is that?! =]http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/eng/rives_tells_a_story_of_mixed_emoticons.html
